What is ZERONA®?
ZERONA is a FDA approved, full body reduction technology designed to safely remove fat and contour the body without invasive surgery. ZERONA works by utilizing the Erchonia® Laser Scanner called the ZERONA® device. The ZERONA produces no heat, so it’s often referred to as a cold laser.
ZERONA is a non-invasive aesthetic device that received FDA market clearance in the U.S. for the circumferential reduction of the waist, hips and thighs. In August 2010, Erchonia Corporation was granted market clearance by the FDA following the completion of a placebo-controlled, randomized, double-blind, multi-site clinical investigation evaluating 67 study participants. The results obtained from that study demonstrated an average inch loss reduction of 3.76 inches across participants’ waists, hips and thighs in as little as two weeks.
What is the LAPEX BCS 2000®?
The LAPEX BCS 2000® is a FDA approved, spot fat reduction technology designed to safely remove fat and contour the body without invasive surgery. Like ZERONA, LAPEX produces no heat, so it’s often referred to as a cold laser.
How do LipoLaser treatments help me lose inches?
Within minutes of low level laser exposure using the ZERONA and LAPEX BCS 2000 LipoLasers, fat cells painlessly develop temporary, transitory pores in the wall of each cell. While the cells remain healthy and alive, fat empties out through the open pores. Our bodies then safely eliminate the fat through the liver and the lymphatic system. The fat cells are not damaged in any way by this process.
How are LipoLasers different than liposuction?
LipoLaser treatments are 100% non-invasive. No fat cells are removed or damaged. No anesthesia or needles are used. You will not experience any pain, swelling or bruising. There is no recovery time. In contrast, liposuction is a cosmetic, surgical procedure performed under anesthesia that removes fat from the human body. The more fat removed, the higher the surgical risk and more recovery time needed. Patients commonly experience pain, swelling and bruising during their recovery process.
What results can I expect?
Participants experienced an average loss of 3.76 inches in ZERONA clinical trials run by Erchonia. Visible results can often be seen after the first few LAPEX LipoLaser treatments.
How long before I see results?
With ZERONA, some see results after only a few treatents as their clothes begin to fit more loosely.
Many experience results around their sixth treatment.
With LAPEX, some see results after their first few treatments. For the fastest, most noticeable results, we recommend combined treatments which include both ZERONA and LAPEX.
Although everyone’s results are different and Taking Shape cannot guarantee results, results are
measurable and often dramatic. We encourage you to take before and after measurements and photos to document your progress.
How long do results last?
By maintaining a healthy diet and with regular exercise, you can
expect long-term results.

Are there any negative side effects with LipoLaser treatments?
There are no known negative side effects from ZERONA or LAPEX LipoLaser treatments; however, people with certain medical conditions should not be treated.
Are there any people who should not do LipoLaser treatments?
If you are pregnant or think that you may be or may become pregnant during your Protocol, ZERONA and LAPEX LipoLaser treatments are not recommended. If you’ve recently given birth, it is recommended that you wait until after your last postpartum doctor’s visit (usually six weeks after birth) and after you have stopped breastfeeding to begin LipoLaser treatments.
If you have a pacemaker, diabetes, thyroid or lymphatic disorders, or are undergoing chemotherapy or radiation, LipoLaser treatments are not recommended.
Is everyone a good cadidate for LipoLaser body slimming treatments?
Most are good candidates. Even people who are not overweight can lose inches. If you have any concerns if LipoLaser treatments are right for you, please talk with your physician and ask any questions about your particular areas of concern.
What can I expect during my LipoLaser treatments?
Many people say that this is the most relaxing part of their day. Your first visit to our office begins with a consultation so we can learn about your inch-loss goals and answer any questions you may have. Each appointment is scheduled for one hour. Standard ZERONA treatments and standard LAPEX treatments are 40 minutes. Whether you choose to do one of these LipoLaser treatments or combine them, Taking Shape provides treatments close to 60 minutes in length.
What do I wear during my LipoLaser treatments?
Ladies wear bra and panties or a two piece bathing suit. Gentleman wear shorts.
