What would it be like if you lived in your perfect world? Would you feel more self-confidence? Would you be healthier? Would you play more? Would you feel more loved? How would your life be different if you could create that perfect world and live in it every day?

Most of us don’t live in our perfect world. And that’s disappointing. We deal with drama, stress, change, family pressures, job responsibilities and it goes on. We don’t have enough time to take care of ourselves. We often feel like we should be doing something else than what we’re actually doing at that moment. If you could create your perfect world, how would that change every aspect of your life going forward?

Imagine for a moment that you could create a perfect world and reap the benefits. Your imagination is unlimited. The human mind is remarkable. You can create a vision of how you want your life to be. With daily practice, you can start to live with more confidence, love, and with a greater state of calmness – whatever you want your world to give you. Creating a new mindset can help make the stresses of life much more manageable. Your mindset creates your perfect world.

Take a breath and close your eyes. Imagine your perfect world. How would you describe what you see, what you feel, what you smell, what you hear? Who is with you in your perfect world? What are they doing and saying? Take a few minutes and ponder. Let your imagination go wild. When you come across images that make you feel relaxed or excited or energized, write them down. Fill up one sheet of paper with all of the possibilities that can be a part of your perfect world. Don’t edit yourself. Just write it all down.

Now for the practice. Every morning before you start your usual routine, read your sheet of paper. Linger on the words and imagery they bring. Choose one word or phrase that resonates with you today. Say it aloud several times. Commit that three times today you will repeat saying it to yourself aloud. Tonight when you go to bed, let it be the last thought you have as you fall asleep.
